DESCRIPTION:Sweden’s World Cup Match at Base Camp\, Åreskutan\nMidsummer Day offers a football experience unlike any other. In the evening\, Sweden’s World Cup match will be shown on a giant screen at Base Camp\, high on Åreskutan with the mountains as the backdrop. To make it possible to watch the match at the summit\, the Gondola will remain open until 22:00 for match visitors. \nLimited capacity – first come\, first served. \n\nBefore boarding the Gondola\, you’ll be informed whether space is available.\nIf the venue is full\, you’re still welcome to ride up and enjoy the atmosphere outside. You’ll be able to hear the match\, but not see the screen.\nBase Camp will be serving kebabs\, falafel\, hot dogs\, and beer.\nBicycles are not permitted on the Gondola after 21:00.\nLast Gondola ride down: 22:00.\nKickoff: 19:00\nBroadcast begins: 18:30\n\nMake a full day of it before the match. The Gondola and Stjärnliften stay open until 21:00 for biking\, giving you extra hours to make the most of Midsummer Day on the mountain. \nFree Gondola Rides All Day\n🇸🇪 As if 12 hours of lift access weren’t enough\, the Gondola is also celebrating its 50th anniversary. To mark the occasion\, all Gondola rides are free throughout the day and evening. Ride up for the views\, biking\, hiking\, or the football celebration—and enjoy a truly unforgettable day on Åreskutan. 🇸🇪
