Banned Book Week – Swedish PEN at Åre library

Banned Books Week Sweden is organised by the Dawit Isaak Library in Malmö and Swedish PEN. It is a way to keep the conversation about freedom of expression alive and a powerful defence of everyone’s right to read. Books are one of the most important means of sharing thoughts and ideas. When a book is banned, so too are the thoughts and ideas it conveys.
