A course with 18-holes in alternating forests and parks overlooking the mountains and the river Indals\u00e4lven. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything started years ago, in the 80s with \u00c5re legends Olle Rol\u00e9n and Arne Wenn\u00e5s. They wanted to invest in making \u00c5re-Duved the largest leisure area in Europe with a goal of arranging a world-class golf competition here. The course would lie in Ull\u00e5dalen and the irrigation system would ensure that Ull\u00e5dalen had artificial snow for autumn and spring skiing. In addition, a grass variety that deterred mosquitoes had been sowed. April Fools! The joke was published in the local newspapers, but it was still a seed that grew there somewhere and in 1990 \u00c5re Golfbana in Staa was inaugurated.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Play at \u00c5re Golf Club<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To play on the course, a green card and a current golf membership are required in any golf club. But it goes without saying that you can try golf at one of the club\u2019s practice areas. Clubs rentals are available.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The golf course is in the mountain world so we\u2019re not talking 365 days of sun and a sea of \u200b\u200bgreenkeepers. Sometimes it\u2019s wet and sometimes there are mosquitos, but that\u2019s all a part of the charm. Here are some facts about the course:    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>18 holes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Par 72<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Course length: yellow tee 5710, red tee 4805<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>One thing is certain. No one forgets the closing eighteenth hole \u2013 the club\u2019s signature hole. There are no safe cards and every time is a new challenge.
