Buustamons Br\u00e4nneri<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At 732 metres above sea level you can find the smallest distillery in Sweden located in the basement at Buustamons Fj\u00e4llg\u00e5rd<\/a>. In their house made schnaps assortment you will find Hojt and Buustasup among others. You can book a tasting where you will get to hear the business\u2019 history, the manufacturing process and taste the different products. A visit can also be combined with a dinner in the well renowned restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00e4vikens lanthandel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Since early 2025, F\u00e4viken Country Store<\/a> has called Unders\u00e5ker home. Here you'll find Unders\u00e5ker Charkuteri, Krus, and shelves filled with locally crafted foods and regional ingredients. Pick up something to take home, or settle in and enjoy the flavors of the region right where they're made. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gelato and bread at Gr\u00e4dda \u00c5re<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Gr\u00e4dda\u2019s<\/a> handcrafted gelato is made with locally sourced ingredients, freshly churned every day, and has earned well-deserved awards along the way. Inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean, the bakery also creates its own artisan bread along with plenty of other irresistible treats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flat bread at Hus\u00e5 Br\u00f6d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the small village Hus\u00e5 at the foot of Mt \u00c5reskutan\u2019s northern side traditional flat bread and crackers are baked with a touch of modernity. The crispy delicacies from Hus\u00e5 Br\u00f6d<\/a> can be bought on location in the bakery and in most grocery stores in \u00c5re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beer at Ottsj\u00f6 Brygghus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the rural village of Ottsj\u00f6 you\u2019ll find the brewery Ottsj\u00f6 Brygghus<\/a> and their ecological beer. Some sorts of the brand can be found at the Swedish alcohol monopoly store Systembolaget and in local bars. They also offer beer tasting events.

Svartberget\u2019s Mountain Brewery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At the World Cup Plateau, close to the Gondola\u2019s base station, you\u2019ll find the highest located brewery in Sweden: Svartbergets Fj\u00e4llbryggeri<\/a> (Svartberget\u2019s Mountain Brewery). They brew interesting types of beer which is served at the bar. They also offer beer tasting and viewings of the brewery.

One of \u00c5re\u2019s first micro breweries lies along the old road between \u00c5re and Duved. Chocolate at \u00c5re Chokladfabrik<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Check out the chocolate factory<\/a> in Bj\u00f6rn\u00e4nge, a couple of kilometers east of \u00c5re. Taste their well-known chocolate pralines and sweets, purchase your favorites and enjoy a hot chocolate or a coffee while you\u2019re there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coffee at \u00c5re Kafferosteri<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There are just a few houses in Helgesj\u00f6vallen, east of \u00c5re. In one of them some of the finest coffee beens on earth are roasted to perfection. The roastery have won several international prices throughout the years. Their coffee is served at its best in their own coffee bar <\/a>on \u00c5re Square but you can have the coffee in some of the restaurants in \u00c5re all year round \u2013 just make sure to ask for it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c5re Water<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
