You can buy track passes in the machines at the respective track centres or at any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skistar.com\/en\/ski-destinations\/are\/winter-in-are\/services\/skistarshops\/\">SkiStar shop<\/a> or in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skistar.com\/en\/myskistar\/apps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the app<\/a>. Day passes can also be bought at the Skidcenter \u00c5reBj\u00f6rnen and Fj\u00e4llsport in Duved. Children under 6 years may use the tracks for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bj\u00f6rnen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c5re Bj\u00f6rnen\u2019s trails run mostly in sheltering tree terrain. The tracks are curvy with mostly sloping slightly uphill and downhill. There are a few more steeper slopes. All tracks are prepared for classic and skate. Direction = clockwise. The tracks begin at the track centre, but there are connecting trails from the children\u2019s lifts in central Bj\u00f6rnen. Because of the openness of the terrain, it\u2019s harder to for the tracks to hold their form due to the wind and snow blowing over the track. On the other hand, it is an extremely nice, flat loop to ski on when the weather allows. Start at Holiday Club and head counter clockwise, it\u2019s a beautiful view of \u00c5re and Mt. \u00c5reskutan when you reach the other side. Updated information about whether this track is open and when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skistar.com\/en\/ski-destinations\/are\/winter-in-are\/cross-country-skiing\/\">it was last groomed is found here.<\/a>     <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Find Lake \u00c5resj\u00f6ns trails at <a href=\"http:\/\/aretrails.com\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aretrails.com.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duved<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Duved\u2019s tracks are a bit more difficult than Bj\u00f6rnen\u2019s. Slightly tougher inclines provides great cardio training and a bit more speedy going downhill. There are usually fewer people in the Duved tracks than in Bj\u00f6rnen (except when the ski club Duveds IF is training). The tracks run mostly in wind-sheltering forests. Start your journey at the track centre at Hamrelia or from the parking lot between Hotell Renen and F\u00f6reningshuset in Duved city centre (connection track prepared for classic skiing, 600 meters). Direction = clockwise. Groomed for classic and skate. Updated information about which tracks are open and when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skistar.com\/en\/ski-destinations\/are\/winter-in-are\/cross-country-skiing\/\">they were last groomed is found here.<\/a>       <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In Duved you\u2019ll find the following tracks:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>2.5 km<\/strong>: Easy (lit trail 07.00\u201322.00)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>5 km<\/strong>: Moderate (lit trail 07.00\u201322.00)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>7 km<\/strong>: Moderate to difficult (lit trail 07.00\u201322.00)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>10 km<\/strong>: Moderate to difficult<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>15 km<\/strong>: Moderate to difficult<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Find Duved\u2019s tracks at <a href=\"http:\/\/aretrails.com\/items?area=duved\">aretrails.com<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ull\u00e5dalen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The trails in Ull\u00e5dalen are mostly in weather exposed mountain terrain. The tracks here start to be groomed a little later in the season, but snow conditions in these higher grounds allow them to be open and skiable longer in the spring. There are both steep climbs and longer slopes in these tracks, following the hilly terrain. The tracks are groomed for classic and skate skiing. Updated information about which tracks are open and when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skistar.com\/en\/ski-destinations\/are\/winter-in-are\/cross-country-skiing\/\">they were last groomed is found here.<\/a>    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In Ull\u00e5dalen you\u2019ll find the following tracks:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>2.5 km<\/strong>: Moderate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>5 km<\/strong>: Moderate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>6.5 km<\/strong>: Moderate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>See the Ull\u00e5dalen tracks at <a href=\"http:\/\/aretrails.com\/items?area=ulladalen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aretrails.com.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">South of \u00c5re<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The area S\u00f6dra \u00c5refj\u00e4llen consists of the villages and mountains south from \u00c5re; Eds\u00e5sdalen, Trillevallen, Ottsj\u00f6 and V\u00e5l\u00e5dalen. All the tracks in S\u00f6dra \u00c5refj\u00e4llen, as well as tips and practical information are described on the website <a href=\"https:\/\/fjallupplevelser.com\/en\/on-skis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fj\u00e4llupplevelser.<\/a>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trail pass<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All the areas in S\u00f6dra \u00c5refj\u00e4llen, described further below, have a joint track pass valid in all of the tracks. <a href=\"https:\/\/fjallupplevelser.com\/en\/trail-fees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Price list and more information is found here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eds\u00e5sdalen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The tracks in Eds\u00e5sdalen run through sheltered terrain and are partly challenging without excessive technical difficulties. There are two track centres here; one at the parking lot at the top of the village and one below K\u00f6jag\u00e5rden and Renfj\u00e4llsg\u00e5rden. The short track (1.2 km) often opens early in the season due to the help of artificial snow. We\u2019re talking about one of Sweden\u2019s best-known Nordic skiing facilities for cross-country skiing. V\u00e5l\u00e5dalen is also the official Vasalopp Centre, <a href=\"\/en\/see-do\/train-long-distance-skiing-in-are\/\">if you are aiming on participating in any kind of XC-race this is the place to get prepared<\/a>. Track cards and access to the waxing hut is included in the price of accommodations at V\u00e5l\u00e5dalen Fj\u00e4llstation.
