Technique<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Riding uphill<\/strong>\u2013 Low gears (experienced cyclists usually ride with higher gears).\u2013 Sit down, it\u2019s the most energy conserving.If it\u2019s super steep, move further forward on your saddle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Riding downhill<\/strong>\u2013 Look out to where the curve ends.\u2013 Slow down before the curve so you can roll through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flat terrain<\/strong>\u2013 Lie close to the wheel of the cyclist in front of you.\u2013 Change who pulls at regular intervals, it\u2019s the hardest position in a cluster. \u2013 Keep track of the cyclists around you when you\u2019re in a group. Mark obstacles on the road by hitting your buttocks on the right or left. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join a cycling club, then join their training. \u00c5re Bergcyklister<\/a> is the local bike club in \u00c5re. Everyone there enjoys a new member and they\u2019re all really welcoming. It\u2019s a great place to find new friends to ride with on your level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
