This summer, Åre becomes a gathering place for art and creativity during the Åre Craft & Art Festival. One of the festival’s highlights is Topophilia, a new exhibition by acclaimed artist Tilda Johansson.

Following celebrated exhibitions in Stockholm and Östersund, Johansson brings Topophilia to Åre—a poetic collection of knitted textiles and handcrafted wood pieces exploring the connections between landscape, identity, and belonging. Several of the works are being shown publicly for the very first time.

Join the opening reception and meet the artist. Drop in anytime between 17.00–20.00, with opening remarks beginning at approximately 18.00.

The exhibition continues July 23–26, open daily 12.00–17.00. Tilda Johansson will be on site to talk about her work on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
