Together, we're building the foundation for businesses in Åre to thrive year-round.

Åre is home to a diverse community of businesses, each bringing its own expertise, experience, and passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. From hotels serving memorable food and drink to outdoor specialists helping visitors find the right gear, and local producers crafting flavors worth coming back for, every business helps shape what makes Åre unique.

Åre Destination brings that collective strength together. We connect businesses, foster collaboration, and build the foundation for long-term, sustainable growth. By identifying shared priorities, listening to the needs of our members, and championing initiatives that benefit the destination as a whole, we help create the conditions for businesses in Åre to succeed—both individually and together.

What does that look like in practice? We work to strengthen the shoulder seasons, collaborate with rail and airline partners to improve travel to and from Åre, enhance the destination throughout the year, produce photo and video campaigns, inspire more visitors to choose Åre, manage PR, provide industry insights and statistics—including guest nights, retail performance, and booking trends—and keep our members connected through newsletters and networking breakfasts. Our role is to see the bigger picture, turn opportunities into action, and create lasting value for the destination.

Our mission is simple: to build the foundation that enables businesses in Åre to thrive year-round.
