Treasure hunt – The swing hunt

Ready for a treasure hunt with a twist? Grab your sense of adventure and set off on a fun-filled mission around Åre Torg to collect everything you need to build your very own swing!

The adventure begins at the Wilderness Camp in Åre Park, where you'll meet guides from Åre's Wilderness Guide Training Program and receive a map and compass.

Follow the map, find the hidden checkpoints, and collect vouchers for the equipment you'll need: rope, a climbing harness, and a carabiner.

Once you've found them all, head back to Åre Park. With help from the guides, you'll build a swing, learn how to tie a proper climbing knot, and then comes the best part – it's time to swing!

This hands-on adventure is perfect for the whole family, giving kids a playful introduction to navigation, knot tying, and climbing techniques.

Along the way, you'll get to:

• Navigate using a map and compass
• Find hidden checkpoints
• Discover how to build a swing using rope, a carabiner, and a harness
• Learn to tie climbing knots
• Try out the swing you've helped build!
