Skördefest på Hållfjället

Hållfjället is completely self-sufficient in vegetables—something quite unique in this climate. During Åre Höstmarknad, they’re offering a harvest dinner with an overnight stay on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September.

An overnight stay for two costs 7 990 kr and includes:

• Accommodation
• Five-course dinner
• Breakfast
  Drinks with dinner are additional.

Getting there can be part of the experience. You can hike up to Hållfjället from either Ottsjö or Edsåsdalen. If you’d like to make a full day of it, a guided hike with a local guide can also be arranged. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the mountains and the area, take you to some of their favorite spots, and arrange lunch or coffee and something sweet along the way.

During Åre Höstmarknad weekend, you can also fly by helicopter directly from Åre village to Hållfjället. The helicopter seats up to five people and costs 9 500 kr per flight.
