Saturday

September 26

Market Opening Hours: 10.00 –17.00.

To see the program, go to the Swedish site.

Enjoy strolling through the Market Lane and visiting the Children’s Market where you’ll find bumper balls, pony riding, games and more, and listen to music performed by Birka’s Tramp Orchestra. If you’re interested in updating your outdoor equipment and/or wardrobe, this is the weekend to do it.  Bike Republic offers 40% off on helmets and clothing, there’s a clearance at Holiday Club (in the Arena) and in the garage at Årevägen 55 (Produkthuset). All around Åre, you’ll find great offers that will allow you to get what you need at a neat price.

A tip is to plan when to eat your lunch as Saturday is usually the market day that attracts the most visitors. Both the Food Court and the eateries in and near Åre will be crowded around noon so why not try eating a bit before 12.00 or after 13.30? It’s also a good idea to book a table for dinner if you wish to eat out. Why not try the three-course autumn buffé at Carins krog or eat at Holiday Club’s Eatery while you’re children enjoy themselves at the kidsLAB disco at for example?

Sunday 27 september

Market Opening Hours: 10.00–14.00

To see the program, go to the Swedish site.

The Sunday is a bit calmer, a bit quieter, and perfect if you prefer that before a crowd. All the arenas are still open from 10.00 to 14.00, and there’s still plenty of activities to enjoy. New since last year is the Farmer’s Market at Åre Park (the Food Court) where the exhibitors that’s been there all weekend add to their range of products and are joined by a number of new exhibitors. Fill your basket with fresh eggs, vegetables and more!
