Introduction to wheel throwing

This introductory pottery class is for anyone curious about trying the pottery wheel. During the 2.5-hour session, an instructor will guide you through the basics before you get behind the wheel and try creating pieces of your own. The focus is on enjoying the experience, learning the craft, and getting a feel for the clay—not on perfection. No previous experience is needed.

Included:

Introduction to wheel throwing and the pottery wheel
Guidance throughout the session
Unlimited clay
Firing of two pieces
Tools and apron
Coffee, tea, and a light snack
The session starts with a 30-minute introduction, followed by 1 hour 45 minutes at the pottery wheel and 15 minutes for cleanup and wrapping up.
