Midvinterfestivalen 2026 – The Mid Winter Festival

After the sold-out success of the festival’s inaugural edition, it is with great pleasure that the Friends of Chamber Music welcome you to the Midwinter Festival 2026 – a new week of winter filled with music, encounters, and magical experiences. This year’s programme is bigger, bolder, and even more multifaceted, featuring some of Europe’s finest musicians and singers alongside our own local stars from Jämtland. The festival takes place in Östersund and Åre, offering a series of concerts to enjoy throughout the festival days. For those wishing to experience multiple concerts, a limited number of festival passes will be available this year, allowing attendees to enjoy the full programme while reserving their seats in advance.
