Men’s Alpine World Cup
In March 2027, the spotlight returns to Åre as the Men’s Alpine World Cup comes back to town on March 13–14.
For two action-packed days, Sweden’s national alpine arena will host giant slalom and slalom events, showcasing world-class speed, skill, and precision. But the World Cup experience extends far beyond the finish line. Throughout the village, the atmosphere comes alive in public squares, restaurants, and gathering places where visitors, athletes, and locals come together to celebrate both on and off the slopes.
The World Cup weekend will also feature Nordic Sustainability Arena, Snowtopia, and several other events that add to the excitement and character of the days. Together, they create a weekend where elite competition meets mountain life, community, and the unique energy that fills Åre when something truly special is happening.
The full program, activities, and additional information will be announced closer to the event. But one thing is already certain: this will be a weekend worth looking forward to, as Åre shows off one of its most vibrant and exciting sides.
