Midvinterfestivalen: Waffle Concert withTanja Nordfjäll at Fröå Gruva

Welcome to Bergstugan – Fröå Mine – a hidden festival gem in the heart of the Åre mountains. Here, where the mountains’ history meets the present day, you’re invited to a concert experience filled with presence, tradition and pure musical joy. In the cultural and historical setting of Fröå Mine, overlooking Åreskutan and the lakes below, an atmosphere is created that unites the stillness of nature with the power of music. Listen to folk musicians Peter Roos, Adrian Jones and Henrik Wikström, performing authentic tunes from Jämtland and Härjedalen on three violins. Together with Sami artist Tanja Nordfjäll, whose powerful joik and warm stage presence bring depth and emotion, this evening becomes a meeting between old and new – with roots in the mountains and eyes set on the future.
