Swedeman Xtreme Triathlon

The Swedeman Xtreme Triathlon is one of the toughest triathlon races in the world, set in the rugged mountains of Jämtland in northern Sweden. The race begins with a cold-water swim, continues with a bike ride through sweeping alpine landscapes, and finishes with a demanding run up the slopes of Åreskutan. It’s known for its raw mountain environment, dramatic elevation gain, and a strictly limited number of participants.

The race starts in Nordhallen, about 22 km west of Åre, and finishes in the heart of Åre village.
