Not to brag, but Åre is truly one of the best places to be if you want to experience a variety of really good food in a small geographic spot. We brew or own beer, distill our own spirits (all according to the law of course). And where else in the world can you find local made ice cream, sausages, ham, swedish crisp bread, chocolates and truffles? Probably we forgot to mention something. So even the taste buds get themselves a thrilling journey when visiting one of the world’s tastiest villages.

Cafeteria and lunch restaurant at the historic mine Fröå Gruva. Lunches, home baked soft flatbread, pastries and waffles with homemade cloudberry jam.

Hotel Fjällgården
Hotel with a long tradition in Åre. Right by the slope overviewing the whole valley. Restaurant, bar and spa. The funicular Bergbanan stops outside.
