St Olavsloppet
St. Olav’s Relay is as much a celebration as it is a race. Friends, teammates, and runners of all levels come together here — from those running for the experience to those chasing a personal best.
The relay takes place over three days, June 25–27, covering a total distance of approximately 340 kilometers (211 miles). The course runs primarily on paved roads and is divided into around 15 stages per day of varying lengths, making it easy for teams to share the experience.
Since 2025, a shorter version of the three-day relay has also been available, with teams joining later on each stage. Participants can also choose to run for one or two days only, whether opting for the full or shorter route.
Even if you’re not taking part, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the atmosphere. Cheer on the runners as they arrive in Åre at the end of day two, or give them an extra boost as day three gets underway.
