Hiking, history & lunch at Buustamon

Join us for a day of mountain scenery, local stories, and great food.

Explore Åre on foot with local guide Maria Wilhelmsson from Morrvikja on a guided hike where history, nature, and local flavors come together. Starting at the World Championship Plateau, you’ll hike approximately 6 km to Buustamons Fjällgård, enjoying fascinating stories about Åre’s history, tastings from Åre Chocolate Factory, and spectacular mountain views along the way.

The experience ends with a delicious lunch at Buustamons Fjällgård, followed by shared transportation back to Åre Village.
