Midsummer Day offers a football experience unlike any other. In the evening, Sweden’s World Cup match will be shown on a giant screen at Base Camp, high on Åreskutan with the mountains as the backdrop. To make it possible to watch the match at the summit, the Gondola will remain open until 22:00 for match visitors.

Limited capacity – first come, first served.

• Before boarding the Gondola, you’ll be informed whether space is available.
• If the venue is full, you’re still welcome to ride up and enjoy the atmosphere outside. You’ll be able to hear the match, but not see the screen.
• Base Camp will be serving kebabs, falafel, hot dogs, and beer.
• Bicycles are not permitted on the Gondola after 21:00.
• Last Gondola ride down: 22:00.

  Broadcast begins: 18:30

Make a full day of it before the match. The Gondola and Stjärnliften stay open until 21:00 for biking, giving you extra hours to make the most of Midsummer Day on the mountain.
