The race begins with a cold-water swim, continues with a bike ride through sweeping alpine landscapes, and finishes with a demanding run up the slopes of Åreskutan. It’s known for its raw mountain environment, dramatic elevation gain, and a strictly limited number of participants.
The race starts in Nordhallen, about 14 miles west of Åre, and finishes at Åre Torg.
Come cheer on the participants as they cross the finish line! The first competitors are expected to arrive around 16.00, with the last finishers crossing at approximately 23.00.
Music by the Lake at Åresjön 22+29 July
Music by the Lake at Åresjön came to life in the summer of 2025. After three concerts, one thing was clear—this was something special, something here to stay. On warm summer evenings, where music met the mountains, a moment was created that truly resonated with the audience.
In summer 2026, the concert series returns to Åresjön. Same place, same lake—framed by the calm presence of Mount Renfjället as the evening light slowly shifts. First to be announced is Eric Gadd together with Blacknuss—two iconic names sharing the same stage in a joint performance. Also confirmed for a summer by the lake is Moonica Mac, Grammy-nominated and widely acclaimed by critics.
