All-out indoor action
Some days, the mountains are calling. Other days, it’s all about jumping, splashing, and indoor laughter. That’s when Åre’s world of indoor fun steps in—made for kids with energy to spare. Bounce at JumpYard, make a splash at Holiday Club’s adventure pool, climb to new heights at Åre Klätterhall, and enjoy a well-earned (and delicious!) break at Åre Chokladfabrik. Perfect for stormy days—or honestly, any day at all.
JumpYard – big jumps, soft landings
At JumpYard everyone moves at their own pace. Kids bounce from trampoline to trampoline, try flips, run, play, and laugh together with friends and family. It’s high-energy, a little thrilling, and above all, a whole lot of fun. When it’s time to catch your breath, the café is close by—ideal for a drink or a bite before heading back up into the air. A place where energy is welcome, whether it’s pouring outside or just feels like an indoor-play kind of day.

Åre Klätterhall – climb, pause, repeat
At the indoor climbing hall Åre Klätterhall, focus meets movement and hangout vibes. With lead climbing, bouldering, top-rope routes, and auto-belays, there’s something for everyone—walls up to 11,5 m (38 feet) high and routes for beginners and experienced climbers alike, kids and adults. Try the Kilter Board, workout at the gym, or wind down in the sauna afterward. No time slots to book—stay as long as you like. When energy runs low, the café serves homemade baked goods, waffles, and hearty sandwiches. The shop carries gear, climbing shoes, and apparel.
Recommended from age 3.
The climbing hall is located in Duved, just steps from the train station in Duved—easy to reach whether you arrive by train, car, or happen to be passing through.
Holiday Club Adventure Pool – a guaranteed hit, any weather
Holiday Club Adventure Pool is a weather-proof favorite where kids’ joy takes center stage. Expect a 67 m (220-foot) water slide, currents, massage jets, and bubbling hot tubs for calmer moments. Younger children splash safely in the extra-warm kids’ pool, while older kids find speed, challenges, and playful fun throughout the pools. The outdoor pool steams year-round, making every swim feel special no matter the season. Time flies, cheeks turn rosy, and everyone finds their own favorite spot in the water. Open to all ages; children under 12 must swim with an adult.
Next to the pools is Saunaworld, a peaceful space for rest and recovery. The pace slows, the warmth takes over, and the day winds down gently after mountain adventures. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
Holiday Club is literally in the heart of the village—just 50 m (150 feet) from the train station.
Åre chokladfabrik – a delicious pause
At the chocolate factory Åre Chokladfabrik the tempo slows and the senses wake up. Kids and adults can taste the pralines, peek into the production area and see how chocolate is made—step by step, without any rush. Settle in with a cup of rich, velvety hot chocolate made from the factory’s own chocolate—especially satisfying after a day outdoors. Feeling snacky? You’ll find plenty of sweet treats to enjoy now—and crave later.
Åre Chocolate Factory is located right by Highway E14, across from the turnoff to the Björnen ski area.
