River Rafting in Åre - A world class adventure

River rafting in Åre is a really wet adventure. With the help of a knowledgeable guide, you paddle together in a rubber raft down some of the mountain world’s most beautiful waterways. Adrenaline rushes are promised here with the roaring sound of the rapids as background. It’s beautiful, wild and crazy fun all at the same time.

White water rafting is an activity based on good cooperation. Together, the group will paddle their rubber boat through rushing water, around rollers and eddies. With a safe and steady hand, you are guided by the rafting guide in the Jämtland rapids. There are rapids here that challenge all kinds of comfort zones, test where the limits of your zone go! When the snow melts down from the mountains, the meltwater collects in the rivers and creates pressure in rapids and falls. This is the best time to jump into an inflatable boat and feel the power of the water. The streams Gevsjöströmmarna and Tångböleströmmarna west from Åre offer fantastic nature experiences together with exciting challenges. Take on the challenge together and create shared memories for life. Tour operator JoPe Fors & Fjäll has tours that suit everyone in its summer program. Here are some examples:
