The Midwinter Festival

Classical chamber music with some of Europe’s foremost musicians playing in this newly founded festival in Östersund and Åre. The program offers 10 different concerts with famous works such as Vivaldi’s Årstider and Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and more, of which three concerts will be played in Åre on February 1. There will be folk music and Sami joik with artists from Jämtland, local culture and young music stars from Jämtland, simply unique experiences in Sweden’s most beautiful winter landscape.
