Hiking

Hiking in Åre is easy. Many hiking trails start from the village square, and if you don’t want to walk the whole distance, you can choose to take the lift and start the hike a bit further up on the mountain. The hiking trails on Mount Åreskutan are varied in length and degree of difficulty and there are trails suitable for both families and experienced hikers. Also explore Renfjället, Mullfjället, Välliste, Storlien, Vålådalen and more of the wonderful mountain areas in Åre’s proximity. Soak up the clear mountain air and beautiful views!

Yes, then you take the road bike with you and tackle Åre’s challenging uphill slopes instead.
